ABOUT
Like most floral designers, Belle spent the majority of her life surrounded by flowers. Growing up with an abundant of fragrant rose bushes at her family home and hydrangeas en masse adorning the table at her grandparents’, fresh flowers were always something Belle admired and valued.
It only felt natural to pursue a career that combined Belle’s love of art and love of flowers, so she pursued a formal qualification. Alongside her Certificate III in Floral Design, Belle also holds a Certificate III in Design Fundamentals and a Certificate III in Visual Art, allowing her to fully embody and immerse herself in all aspects of art and design when creating her arrangements.
Whilst completing her certification to become a formally trained, qualified floral designer, she embarked on the journey to start a business at 19. Since her first wedding - her brother's - in December of 2020, Belle’s business has thrived. Bee’s Blossoms was voted the GC’s Best Florist only 8 months after launching by the GC Bulletin, and currently holds a 5 star rating across all platforms (Google & Facebook). Bee’s Blossoms is a loved florist, and is also named a Top Florist in local publications such as Urban list (x2) and Inside GC.
Belle had the incredible opportunity in March '23 to be mentored and trained by her favourite designer, the renowned, international planner Steve from Sinclair & Moore, one of the leading Wedding Planners & Florists in the USA. Immersed in his world, she attended exclusive workshops and collaborated on projects in both Washington and California, drawing profound inspiration from his unparalleled expertise and creativity.
She has been featured in some of your favourite wedding publications such as Hello May, Wed Vibes and To the Aisle for her whimsical wedding work, an attestation to her quality and service. You can also find Bee’s Blossoms as a recommended supplier in the local wedding directories, such as Tweed Coast Weddings, Scenic Rim Bride and Wedding Collective Gold Coast.
Belle draws inspiration from art, organic shapes and vintage finds. She is constantly inspired by Mother Nature, and enjoys working with florals which are delicate and have lots of movement. Her work is soft, feminine and floral abundant. She approaches each project with so much passion and excitement. When Belle's not flowering, you can find her with her hands in some clay or op shopping.
Belle and her team of flower fairies love what they do, and the whimsical, unstructured floral designs that Bee's Blossoms is known for, are always made with so much love.
